It&amp;rsquo;s a headache nobody needs.&#xA;That&amp;rsquo;s why we built our table heaters with an IP55 rating. We wanted to stop those failures before they even start.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;What does IP55 actually do for you?&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;In plain English, it means the unit can handle dust and low-pressure water jets coming at it from any angle. We didn&amp;rsquo;t just slap a label on it; we sealed the chassis joints and put gaskets around every single electrical entry point.&#xA;It keeps the moisture out of the heating element&amp;rsquo;s housing. If your shop is humid or you&amp;rsquo;re working near a wash-down area, this seal is the only thing standing between you and a burnt-out unit.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Dealing with the fog&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Mist is sneaky. It creates this thin, conductive film on the heater&amp;rsquo;s surface, which leads to electrical leakage. Not ideal.&#xA;We used materials that actually repel water and stop fog from clinging to the infrared emitter. Because the surface stays clear, the heat stays consistent. You won&amp;rsquo;t deal with that annoying drop in power that happens when moisture coats the lamp.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The honest trade-offs&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Look, these heaters take a beating. While the IP55 enclosure is great for protection, it does change how the external casing breathes.&#xA;We spent a lot of time finding the sweet spot—sealing it tight enough to block water, but leaving enough room so the internal electronics don&amp;rsquo;t cook themselves. Just make sure you follow the mounting clearances. Give the unit some air, and it&amp;rsquo;ll be happy.&#xA;One last thing: wiring is easy, but don&amp;rsquo;t rush the seals. If you pinch a gasket during installation, the IP rating goes right out the window. But once they&amp;rsquo;re locked in? These things last way longer than those open-frame heaters that just give up the moment things get damp.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
