Finding the sweet spot with heat
Now, infrared is great because it hits the glass directly, which clears the fog fast. But you can’t just crank the power to eleven. If you push too much wattage, you risk melting the adhesives holding the mirror in place. Not a good look. We spend a lot of time balancing the heat. We make sure the glass hits the dew point quickly—so you can actually see your reflection—without cooking the frame.
Easier upkeep
Because the heating element isn’t fused to the structure, maintaining the system is actually simple. During a routine check, you can just run a multimeter through the modules to see if any are starting to weaken. You catch the problem before the mirror fogs up and someone complains. It turns what used to be a major renovation project into a simple part swap. Much better.
