Ever wonder why some bathroom heaters last for years while others give up the ghost after one season? Most people think it’s the heating element that burns out. But honestly? It’s usually something much smaller and way more annoying: the lead-wire seal. Think about your bathroom. It’s a steam room. Then the heater kicks on, gets scorching hot, and then cools down again. That constant switching between freezing and boiling makes the seals expand and shrink. If that seal isn’t perfect, moisture sneaks in. A Quick Tip for Installers
Because our seals are so much beefier, the wires feel a bit stiffer. Just a heads-up:**don’t bend them at sharp angles.**If you kink a vacuum-sealed wire, you might put too much pressure on the quartz tube. Just give the wire a little bit of slack in the housing, and you’re golden.
